David of Black Rock RV still owes me for $3,900. I don't think he intended to scam me from the start, he seemed like a good guy, but the fact is that he agreed to list an RV i rented and then refund my money. He did re-rent the RV, at a significant markup, but he never sent me a refund. Instead he has been giving me the run around for two months, then sent me a check that bounced. He had also done the same thing to other customers.
I would stear clear of this business, no matter how desperate you are for an RV. Instead, make yourself a hexa-yurt for a few hundred dollars and live like a Mongolian king.
Easy road access
We went to pick up our RV - and our contact was no where to be found. His voicemail was full - and we heard from a local shop owner that he was missing in action since Friday before burning man, and that there were several people, like us, who had paid thousands of dollars only to arrive and find no RV. This person should not be in business and appears to be misleading many. DO NOT RENT AN RV FROM THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, would be my advise.
